Ford’s Blue Cruise technology enables hands-free driving on approved, divided highways – about 130,000 miles across North America! This advanced driver assist system can accelerate, brake, and steer as needed, acting similarly to adaptive cruise control with lane centering and blind spot detection – all on its own! Ford BlueCruise even “reads” road signs to maintain proper speeds and uses a camera to make sure drivers keep their eyes on the road.

Three New Hands-Free Features
BlueCruise 1.2 will include three new hands-free features, each designed to add confidence to your cruise.
- Lane change assist: This feature, activated by the turn signal, performs a safe, hands-free lane change. It will even suggest when a lane change may be helpful to avoid slow-moving traffic.
- Predictive speed assist: Designed to automatically adjust speed as you approach a sharp curve, this feature will alert you of the impending slowdown.
- In-lane repositioning: To make hands-free highway driving feel more natural, this feature subtly shifts your Ford away from nearby vehicles, especially semi trucks.
