The street truck scene is thriving, with enthusiasts spending thousands on lowered suspension, performance upgrades, and aggressive styling.
Ford has been paying attention—and now they’re delivering their own factory-built answer: the 2025 Ford F-150 Lobo.
Ford positions the Lobo as a factory-backed “street truck,” offering the cosmetic and suspension modifications that enthusiasts typically look for in the aftermarket, but with the peace of mind of full warranty coverage. The name itself pays homage to Ford’s heritage—”Lobo,” Spanish for “wolf,” has been used in the Mexican market since 1997. This new iteration represents a bold design direction that blends traditional truck utility with street-smart attitude.
Built on the STX trim as a SuperCrew, the F-150 Lobo packs a 5.0-liter V8 engine delivering 400 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and an upgraded two-speed automatic four-wheel-drive system, feeding an electronic locking differential and 3.73 rear gears.
For Florence street truck enthusiasts who want an F-150 with serious attitude—without the hassle of sourcing parts—the Lobo hits that sweet spot perfectly.

All Eyes on the Lobo: Street Presence You Can’t Ignore
From the showroom to the street, the F-150 Lobo is turning heads and starting conversations…which was to be expected since street truck culture thrives on eye-catching style and performance to back it up.
When designing the Lobo, the Ford team set out to create a truck that looks as aggressive as it drives and sounds. The foundation starts with an exclusive lowered suspension that drops the rear 2 inches, leveling out the truck’s stance for an aggressive, street-ready profile.
Up front, a cowl induction hood with functional vents hints at the V8 power beneath. The redesigned front fascia features a distinctive gloss-black mesh grille, seamlessly integrated into the bumper, with a wide air intake flanked by fog lights. A prominent light bar with four LED units gives the Lobo an unmistakable look.
The aggressive theme continues throughout with blacked-out exterior trim, dual exhaust with black tips, and custom 22-inch gloss black wheels wrapped in street-oriented Bridgestone Alenza all-season tires. Every detail works together to create a much more muscular and commanding look compared to standard F-150 models. This is perfect if you want your truck to make a statement before you ever get inside.
You’ll be able to make your Lobo yours with a choice of five exterior colors:
- Agate Black Metallic
- Atlas Blue Metallic
- Carbonized Gray
- Oxford White
- Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat
