From there, you can upgrade to a new 7.3-liter V-8 that produces 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque or a 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbo-diesel V-8 that gets 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque. These figures are at the head of the heavy-duty truck class. All engines are available with either rear- or four-wheel drive. Combine these powertrains with the F-250's strong frame and engineering, and you get best-in-class towing and hauling capabilities as well. When properly equipped, the F-250 can haul 7,850 pounds and tow up to 24,200 pounds with a traditional hitch. With a gooseneck hitch, it can tow 37,000 pounds. Off-Road Ready New for 2020 is Ford's available Tremor off-road package, designed to enable the F-250 to go anywhere with ease. It's available on the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trims and with either the 6.7-liter turbo-diesel or the 7.3-liter V-8. With this package, you'll get a limited-slip front differential, 35-inch maximum traction tires with a 2-inch front lift, a front and rear suspension tuned for off-road driving, 1.7-inch twin tube dampers, a new grille that allows for high airflow, an integrated electric winch with 12,000 pounds of winching power, and additional Rock Crawl and Trail Control drive modes. F-250s with the Tremor package can also ford a best-in-class 33 inches of water. Safety and Convenience Features Ford loaded the 2020 F-250 with technology to enhance driver and passenger comfort, connectivity, and safety. All trims but the base XL have an 8.0-inch touch screen and Ford's SYNC 3 infotainment system. The F-250 comes with standard and available features, such as a Wi-Fi hot spot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, satellite radio, a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, a wireless charging pad, and a variety of power outlets. The SYNC 3 system also connects to apps such as Ford+Alexa and Waze.
