What happens when you add a supercharger to the Mustang’s track-bred Dark Horse DNA? Ford just answered that question, and sports car fans are excited. The 2027 Mustang Dark Horse SC is officially here, and it’s available as both a fastback coupe and, for the first time in this lineup, a convertible. Inside, the Dark Horse SC Convertible is as refined as it is fierce. The cabin features premium materials, with upholstery available in Black Onyx or Space Gray, making the experience feel as elevated as it sounds. Read on, and we’ll take a closer look at everything the Dark Horse SC has to offer. Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC Performance The 2027 Mustang Dark Horse SC Convertible is Ford's most powerful open-air production Mustang, so buckle up for some numbers we’ve never seen before. This Mustang is powered by a supercharged 5.2L V8 that produces 795 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque. Power goes to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, so shifts come fast, and the throttle response stays sharp whether you’re merging onto the highway or opening it up on a back road. We also believe it’ll have a different suspension than the standard Dark Horse. Instead of track-focused tuning, the SC is expected to use a softer MagneRide® suspension calibration, making it better suited to spirited street driving. In other words, you get the performance without feeling every crack in the pavement. That said, the Dark Horse SC still lives up to its name. It delivers serious capability, distinctive styling details, premium interior finishes, and the unmistakable sound of a supercharged V8 echoing with the top down. All of this means your Mustang turns heads anywhere and everywhere. When Can You Order the 2027 Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC Convertible in Florence?
