The 2020 Ford F-250 Can Handle Anything

For drivers who require a heavy-duty pickup for work or play, the 2020 Ford F-250 should be at the top of the list. This versatile truck boasts some of the most impressive power figures in its class yet is still comfortable and luxurious enough to be a family or commuter vehicle. Find out why the 2020 F-250 can handle anything. Incredible Power Even the F-250's base engine is formidable. The gas-powered 6.2-liter V-8 generates 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. From there, you can upgrade to a new 7.3-liter V-8 that produces 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque or a 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbo-diesel V-8 that gets 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque. These figures are at the head of the heavy-duty truck class. All engines are available with either rear- or four-wheel drive. Combine these powertrains with the F-250's strong frame and engineering, and you get best-in-class towing and hauling capabilities as well. When properly equipped, the F-250 can haul 7,850 pounds and tow up to 24,200 pounds with a traditional hitch. With a gooseneck hitch, it can tow 37,000 pounds. Off-Road Ready New for 2020 is Ford's available Tremor off-road package, designed to enable the F-250 to go anywhere with ease. It's available on the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trims and with either the 6.7-liter turbo-diesel or the 7.3-liter V-8. With this package, you'll get a limited-slip front differential, 35-inch maximum traction tires with a 2-inch front lift, a front and rear suspension tuned for off-road driving, 1.7-inch twin tube dampers, a new grille that allows for high airflow, an integrated electric winch with 12,000 pounds of winching power, and additional Rock Crawl and Trail Control drive modes. F-250s with the Tremor package can also ford a best-in-class 33 inches of water. Safety and Convenience Features Ford loaded the 2020 F-250 with technology to enhance driver and passenger comfort, connectivity, and safety. All trims but the base XL have an 8.0-inch touch screen and Ford's SYNC 3 infotainment system. The F-250 comes with standard and available features, such as a Wi-Fi hot spot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, satellite radio, a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, a wireless charging pad, and a variety of power outlets. The SYNC 3 system also connects to apps such as Ford+Alexa and Waze. Driver-assist features you'll find on the F-250 include pro trailer backup assist, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with forward collision warning and brake support, lane-keeping alert, automatic high beams, and blind-spot monitoring. The latter takes into account whatever you're hauling, covering blind spots for trailers up to 33 feet long. A hill descent control feature helps you navigate steep hills on-road and off, with and without a trailer. Use Ford Pass Connect to start, stop, lock, unlock, and locate your vehicle, and more, remotely. Test the 2020 Ford F-250 out for yourself to see if it can handle everything you throw at it. How to Prepare Your Car for Winter

It’s that time of year again. The holidays are here, the temperatures are dropping, and winter is quickly approaching. With the onset of cooler temperatures, it’s important to do some routine maintenance to ensure your vehicle runs smoothly throughout the winter months. Don’t worry. We’ve got you covered with a checklist to get your vehicle ready for winter. Check your vehicle's battery. Many of us have been there. You're running late, you get in your vehicle, and it’s cold outside. You turn the key, and it doesn’t crank. The cold weather can deplete your vehicle's battery. Before getting stranded one morning, let our Ford service technicians check your battery. Check tire pressure and tread depth. Though we do not get snow and ice often, it’s still good to check your tire pressure and tread depth before winter weather comes. Having proper tread depth is important under normal driving conditions for safety and even more so for wet and icy roads. Use the penny test to check your tire tread depth. Stick a penny with Lincoln’s head facing down. If you see Lincoln's entire head, it’s time for you to replace your tires. Also, be sure to check the PSI in all four tires. In colder weather, tire pressure decreases 1-2 psi for every 10 degrees temperature decreases. The optimal PSI for your vehicle's tires is available in your owner’s manual. Check belts, hoses, and fluids. Cold temperatures can weaken the hoses and belts that keep your engine running. Be sure to check the belts and hoses for cracks or signs of wear and tear and replace them if needed. It’s also important to check the antifreeze, wiper fluid, brake fluid, and transmission fluid. Getting a professional to examine these fluids will ensure that your vehicle’s fluids are at the proper levels to keep it running safely and efficiently. Incorporate these simple tips into your maintenance plan to ensure your vehicle runs smoothly this winter. For more tips on how to winterize your car, follow us on Facebook.
