Regarding the design, a striking new interior color theme option has been added: Smoked Truffle with bronze accents. Customers can look forward to dark appearance headlamps and a redesigned grille and front bumper. On higher trim levels, you’ll get LED projector headlamps with LED signature accent lighting. A new available Black Package gives drivers a unique grille, black roof, black Ford badges and 19-inch gloss black wheels.

All-New 2025 Ford Maverick Lineup and Key Features

Starting at $26,295, the five-seater Ford Maverick is an affordable option for truck shoppers. Ford has added two new trim levels to the Ford Maverick lineup for the 2025 model year — the Ford Maverick Lobo and the Ford Maverick Tremor — so drivers now have a total of five trim levels to choose from:

  • Ford Maverick XL
  • Ford Maverick XLT
  • Ford Maverick Lariat
  • Ford Maverick Tremor
  • Ford Maverick Lobo

The brand-new Lobo trim level brings a stronger emphasis on performance, offering a lowered ride height, performance-tuned steering and brakes, and an exclusive track-only Lobo Mode. Hybrid models now offer available all-wheel drive.

You’ll appreciate the FLEXBED Storage System, which makes it easy to stay organized and keep everything securely in its place, while the standard Multi-Position Tailgate accommodates a variety of large loads. Now let’s check out some of the key features of each Ford Maverick trim level.

2025 Ford Maverick XL

As the base trim level, the XL comes with the standard 2.5-liter hybrid engine and a Continuously Variable Transmission, though you can opt for the 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine with the eight-speed automatic transmission instead. Take advantage of the convenient under-seat storage, FLEXBED Storage System, and tie-downs, which also serve as bottle openers when needed. The XL is designed with 17-inch Sparkle Silver steel, and the new 13.2-inch touchscreen with SYNC® 4 and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ comes standard.

2025 Ford Maverick XLT

The XLT also comes with the standard hybrid engine and offers the option of the EcoBoost® engine. With this trim level, you’ll get Intelligent Access with push-button start, 17-inch Carbonized Gray painted aluminum wheels, and a 2K trailer hitch receiver with a four-pin connector. You’ll also have access to cubby storage in the bed as well as a total of 10 tie-downs.

2025 Ford Maverick Lariat

Like the XL and XLT, the Lariat gives you a choice between the standard hybrid engine and the EcoBoost® engine. It takes style a step further with 19-inch machined painted aluminum wheels; adds comfort with a power eight-way adjustable driver seat with power lumbar, a six-way adjustable manual passenger seat, and a dual-zone electronic automatic temperature system; and upgrades your listening experience with an eight-speaker B&O® Sound System. Ford Co-Pilot360 driver-assist technology provides more peace of mind, and LED projector headlamps with LED signature accent lighting and LED taillamps create a more striking look.

2025 Ford Maverick Tremor

Stand out on and off the road with the Tremor trim level, which is only offered with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. Equipped with 17-inch all-terrain tires and set apart with Tremor Orange accents, this trim level was designed for off-roading. An off-road tuned suspension, a lockable rear differential, and an elevated ride height allow you to conquer rugged trails like a pro.

2025 Ford Maverick Lobo

Take to track or the streets in the all-new Ford Maverick Lobo trim level. Designed with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine and a seven-speed automatic transmission, this unique, performance-focused trim level comes with 19-inch black wheels, a lowered ride height, a tuned suspension, and enhanced steering and brakes. Other highlights include ActiveX trimmed seats with unique accent stitching, a unique front fascia with fog lamps and a black roof, and the exciting track-only Lobo Mode.

Infotainment and Technology Updates

You’re going to love the standard technology in the new 2025 Ford Maverick. For starters, an expansive 13.2-inch touchscreen is 5.2 inches larger than the 2024 model year, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ make staying connected easier than ever, and a built-in 5G modem is also new.

No more second guessing — a newly added 360-degree camera, standard with the Tremor trim level, allows you to park with confidence, plus available Pro Trailer Hitch Assist and Pro Trailer Backup Assist make towing a breeze. We also can’t forget about safety. No matter which Maverick model you choose, you’ll get standard Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane-Keeping Aid, a rearview camera, and auto LED high-beam headlamps. Lariat and Tremor owners will enjoy additional peace of mind with Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, Lane Centering, and Predictive Speed Assist.

Upgraded Powertrain Options and Performance

Hybrid all-wheel drive models are now an option. The XL, XLT, and Lariat models are equipped with the standard 2.5-liter hybrid engine; these three trim levels also offer the option of a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, which comes standard on the Tremor and Lobo trim levels. The 2.5-liter hybrid engine produces up to 191 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque while the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine produces up to 238 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. Both engine options generate the power to tow up to 2,000 pounds, but with the 4K Towing Package, either engine can manage up to 4,000 pounds.
