2025 marks a new era for America’s best-selling SUV, the Ford Explorer. With a reimagined interior, advanced new technology, and bolder exterior styling, the new Explorer is sure to be just as popular as its predecessors.
Also new for 2025 is a revamped trim level lineup, which now includes four trims, including the return of the special edition Ford Explorer ST.

The 2025 Explorer lineup offers plenty of options to personalize your ride. From unique interior features to exterior styling, you can customize your Explorer to meet your needs.

- 2025 Ford Explorer ST-Line
- 2025 Ford Explorer ST
- 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum
Every trim is equipped with impressive standard features and a family-friendly interior. The new model is sure to turn heads with its bold design, thanks to a larger honeycomb grille, all-LED headlights, wider air curtains, and a front skid plate.
The base trim–Active–is equipped with 18-inch Sparkle Silver-painted aluminum wheels. Six other wheel options are available, with the top-level trim offering 21-inch wheels.
An Elevated Cabin Experience
The interior of the 2025 Explorer is inviting and comfortable with new premium upholstery materials, available multi-contour seats, and wrap-and-stitch soft-touch surfaces on the center console, dash, and door panels. Heated front seats are standard, so you’ll always be comfy, no matter how low the temperature drops.
You can even customize your interior with seven ambient lighting options: Ice Blue, Orange, Soft Blue, Red, Green, Blue, and Purple. This feature is standard on Platinum and ST and available on ST-Line.
Ford Digital Experience
The 2025 Explorer is the first Ford to include the new Ford Digital Experience infotainment system.
The Ford Digital Experience includes:
- 13.2-inch LCD touchscreen with Google Maps integration
- 12.3-inch digital driver information cluster
- 5G connectivity
- 8 USB ports to charge electronic devices
- Wireless phone-charging pad in the front seat

- Ford Co-Pilot360 safety technology
- Available Wii-Fi hotspot
- Ford BlueCruise: enabling hands-free driving on over 130,000 miles of highway across North America. (Available on ST-Line, ST, or Platinum models)
When parked, you and your crew can even play games on the touchscreen by selecting from a growing list of games available on the Google Play store!
