2021 Ford Bronco Sport
It's time to introduce the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport, a dynamic SUV that is turning heads wherever it goes. The Bronco Sport is packed with interior amenities, is loaded with the most advanced driving technology, and has the power to take you anywhere. Here's a look at why the Bronco Sport is getting so much attention.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
Five trims separate the Bronco Sport from one another, though each maintains that signature Bronco style with a modern feel. Sharp lines on the hood flow into the one-piece grille with the Bronco logo prominently displayed on a single bar that meets the round headlights framing it. Sculpted body sides are bookended by all-terrain tires beneath peaked fenders. Above it all is the contrast-color roof, and a single taillight on the rear is the Bronco's exclamation point on its adventure readiness.
Engine (Power)
Two engines are available on the Bronco Sport. The standard engine is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost Ti-VCT GTDI inline three-cylinder engine. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the Bronco Sport gets 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. You can up the power with Ford's 2.0-liter EcoBoost Ti-VCT GTDI inline four-cylinder engine. This is mated with the eight-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The result is 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Four-wheel drive is standard on the Bronco Sport, and you also get the Terrain Management System with up to seven G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) drive modes. You'll love the impressive water-fording capability, excellent ground clearance, and the High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (H.O.S.S.) on the Bronco Sport.
Your G.O.A.T. modes include Normal for your everyday driving. Choose Sand mode for a day on the dunes. Opt for Slippery mode when conditions get slick. Sport mode dials in your Bronco's steering, throttle, and shift points for a more thrilling ride. Eco mode is perfect for those long road trips up into the hills. The Badlands trim adds Rock Crawl and Mud/Ruts modes to handle those tricky off-road hazards.
Interior
There's plenty of room for five people in the Bronco Sport, boasting best-in-class first- and second-row legroom and best-in-class cargo space with a Cargo Management System that gives you several configurations. You can stick with the premium cloth interior or upgrade to the refined look of leather seats with heating and ventilation, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a power moonroof to take in the huge night sky.
Rear floodlights are just the beginning of your base camp. A foldout camp table is standard, along with a 110-volt/400-watt AC power outlet. The seatbacks are a rubberized material with a MOLLE strap system for easy organization of your favorite gear. Ford even thought of a convenient bottle opener located on the inside of the hatch.
Safety Features
Ford Co-Pilot360 is a suite of driver-assist systems to help you when you have to stay on the road. The suite includes Blind Spot Information System with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, a Lane-Keeping System, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, and a Rearview Camera system. These systems alert you to potential dangers and can intervene with brake support if necessary.
